The 11th Annual Walk on Erie was once again a great success. Thanks to all the restaurants who fed us so well, to the sponsors and to the donors who contributed items for the silent auction and raffle baskets and to our volunteers. Over $18,000 was raised! These funds are used to provide direct short break care for children with disabilities.
Each participant at the event enjoyed food at St. Angela's Hall and at three of the five participating restaurants. Bruschetta, meatballs, penne, veal piccata, mussels, steak on baguette, stuffed pasta shells, and risotto balls were just some of the delicious offerings as we made our way down "little Italy". This was all topped off with sweets donated by Carmen's Catering from Leamington.
John Penner was the lucky winner of the raffle for the 10 free dinners on Erie St.
Thanks to everyone for coming. We look forward to seeing you again next year.
