1.  How did you get interested working with kids?

I have always wanted to work with children from a young age. Through a mix up at the college I was placed in the wrong program and was exposed to the world of special needs so I stayed in the program and have made a career out of helping kids who need me and what I have learned so far.

Q: How did you become interested in working with kids?

A: I grew up in an environment in which many of my friends and an immediate family member worked with people through various organizations. This allowed me to see and hear about the differences a person can make in the life of a child, and their family. That was my hook! From this point on my life choices began to reflect my interest in helping others.

Q.  How did you get interested working with kids?

When I was a teenager I worked with many different youth groups and developed a passion for helping children. My daughter said to me one day, dad you love to work with kids why don’t you work for Family Respite? That really got the ball rolling.
