How did you get interested in working with kids?

I became interested in working with children when I was 18 years old, when I became a volunteer wrestling coach. Through working with the children on the wrestling team and talking with friends and family I decided to go to college and take the child and youth worker program.

FAMILY RESPITE SERVICES FINANCIAL YEAR END IS MARCH 31, 2012


Therefore when submitting your timesheets with the Pay Period End Date March 17th you must also include hours worked from March 18 to March 31on a separate timesheet.


ALL TIMESHEETS MUST BE IN THE OFFICE BY MARCH 21, 2012 by 4:00 P.M. ANY HOURS SUBMITTED AFTER MARCH 21st WILL NOT BE PAID.

There are few things more heartbreaking than a child with no friends.

But being friendless is the norm for Canadian children with physical and developmental disabilities.

A new study, written by Anne Snowdon, a nurse and professor at the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor in Ontario, shows that 53 per cent of disabled kids have no friends.
