We have partnered with the National Bank and Running Factory for the 2010 Charity Challenge. They heard that we have had over 100 participants at our 5km Walk, Wheel, Run Ambulance Chaser, so asked us to come on board to bring more people to their 8 and 3km Run/Walk on Sunday, Sept. 19th, 2010.
Please help FRS in attending this event, there is also a Kids Dash.

August 21st will be a great day for a scavenger hunt ride in the County of Essex!  Join us on your motorcycle or in your car.  There will be a family fun route, a motorcycle route and an adult explorer route.  This is our 5th annual Robert's Ride and Rally, with funds being raised to provide short breaks for families who have children with disabilities.  Check out the website at http://www.robertsrideandrally.com/

Big Wiggle Fest is Saturday, August 14th at the Riverside Sportsmen Club from 7 to 1.

Bigg Wiggle plays anything from Black Eyes Peas to Aerosmith to keep the festival rockin'!

There's still time to practice your putting and get some friends together for the 1st annual GLISC/FRS Golf Tournament.  The tournament will be on Wed. July 21st, at Kingsville Golf and Country Club, honouring the memory of Hannah McCann.  We'll be raising funds for families who have children with phGOLFlogo72.JPGysical disabilities in Windsor and Essex County.

Walk on Erie Street tickets are sold out!  We look forward to seeing everyone again this year.

Monkey Town...a playspace for kids, will be hosting a fundraising opportunity with FRS every last Wednesday of the month from January-June 2010.

As a part of our 4th Annual Robert's Ride, Silver Tee Golf Center will be providing FREE Mini Golf for children supported by FRS. Come out with your family or worker for a round of mini golf, BBQ and beverages and a chance to win children’s baskets. The 1st Hole in One wins $50.00 Toys R Us Gift Certificate.  Second and third Hole in One wins $25 Toys R Us Gift Certificate.  Prizes are donated by Lamantia Heating and Cooling.  Free Golf is made possible through our sponsor- CIBC's investment in children in our community and our host Silver Tee.

If a worker/parent is assisting the child, there is no charge, but if you are playing mini golf the cost is $3.00, payable to FRS.

Robert's Ride and Rally is a family oriented motorcycle and car scavenger hunt and rally that takes place throughout Windsor and Essex County.There are 2 motorcycle routes, one car route and one Family Fun Route. You get a map, clues, and away you go! Make your own route and use your time wisely, but most of all have fun! All money raised from Robert's Ride and Rally goes to Family Respite Services "Our Time" program.
