Thanks go out to all of the Southern Cruisers for their sponsorship of the 5th Annual Robert's Ride and Rally.  This year the weather conspired against us, but the participants still reported that they had a great ride and a good time.  Riders in cars and bikes rode throughout Essex County, looking for items and clues throughout the day.   The funds raised through this event are used to assist children with disabilities to participate in our community recreation programs such as the Our Time, Fantastic Fridays and summer daycamp supports.  Thanks everyone!  We

 14 Sep 2009 The Windsor Star Cruisers give back

On Saturday, Aug. 15, 170 people participated in the fourth annual Robert’s Ride and Rally. They rode through the county stopping at parks, ice cream stores, motorcycle shops, a winery, historical spots and more. This annual scavenger hunt and ride features routes for motorcycles, cars and a fun family route. Family Respite Services received $16,500 from this event, which is sponsored by the Southern Cruisers Riding Club.

We'd like to say a big "thank you" to Andrew who donated proceeds from his "Rock On" sales over the summer.  Andrew sells great t shirts, hoodies, aprons and more with the "Rock on" logo- his own design.  Sizes range from infants to adults, with beautiful colours to choose from.  Check out Andrew's website www.grouphugapparel.com  Thanks Andrew!  This will help families who have children with disabilities in our community!
