Ontario has appointed a new council to help remove barriers for people with disabilities.

As of December 18, 2012, Ontario will update the Special Diet Allowance program to include people on social assistance who have Prader-Willi Syndrome or unintended weight loss due to chronic renal failure.

Ontario will help municipalities deliver housing and homelessness programs through additional one-time assistance in 2013-14.
